Our Goals

Goals of Education

•  Help students develop a positive attitude toward learning

•  Create a comfortable learning environment

•  Maintain harmony on the campus

•  Upgrade teachers' professional knowledge and teaching skills

•  Cultivate students' excellent moral character and enhance their academic 
    performance

 

Combining Living and Education

     In the respect of advising and counseling, the school-published “A Guidebook 
to Student Life: is held as the guiding principle. By incorporating teaching and 
education, disciplining and counseling, living and educating we pursue a rational
and student-authorizing counseling system as to cultivate physically and mentally
competent elite. Our services also include running emergent financial aids programs,
visiting off campus housing, counseling dormitory living, promoting safety education
on traffic, fire, disaster and emergent escape, planning and implementing law and
order education, and advising social service clubs, the marching band drill team.

 

Wholeness of Education

•  Academic excellence

    Students are encouraged to challenge their potential to their full extent.

•  Personal development

    Through the balanced programs in sports, art and music students are expected 
    to have a high self-esteem.

•  Career awareness

    Students are assisted to find out what they can be and do the best they can.

 

Teaching

    The school offers an all-round education and excellent facilities on the basis 
    of far-sighted planning.

•  An all-round educational program is offered with equal stress on science and
    liberal arts.

•  Our curriculum is flexible to allow students to make as much progress as their 
    interests go in language, sports, and art.

•  In addition to English, our students are expected to learn a third language with
    a choice of Japanese, French and Spanish, an effort to promote an international
    perspective.

•  The school has provided extensive facilities to facilitate students' learning.
