• Besides forty thousand volumes of books, there are rolls of slides, transparences, tapes, CDs, etc. With sufficient hardware and software equipment, this well-designed and spacious library provides students with an excellent learning environment.
Extra-curricular Activities
There are 55 extra-curricular activities for students to choose from. Some of the student clubs were the center of attention in many contests or on important occasions. The marching band and the honor guard have been invited to the USA, Malaysia and Hong Kong for performances and received great acclaim. Other clubs such as Chinese music and school chorus were given top honors for their good work in contests.
International Exchange
• Our students are offered an opportunity every summer vacation to go on a study tour in the U.S. or U.K.
• In 1994, Taichung Girls' Marching band was invited to visit Overseas Chinese Senior High School in Malaysia, giving another performances. Then in 1996, the band was recommended to take part in the Pacific-Asian Wind Instrument Festival. In the same year, and later in 1998 and 3000 as well, the famous International Marching Band Performance and Emulation. Wherever they went they received the warmest welcome from local people.
• In December, 2000, Kuen Cheng Girls' High School Wind Instrument Band from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, came to visit our school.
